The Role
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Bar & Restaurant Manager to lead the opening and daily operations of this flagship venue. Reporting to The General Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating an exceptional guest experience, building a high-performing team, and ensuring smooth, profitable operations that align with our brand and corporate culture.
Rate of Pay: £35,000 – £39,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Location: Scotland
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the bar and restaurant
- Recruit, train, and manage front-of-house staff
- Develop and maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction
- Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to curate menus and promotions
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing a bar and/or restaurant (minimum 3 years)
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Knowledge of service, beverage and coffee trends, especially in corporate or upscale casual settings
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management, and financial reporting
- Passion for hospitality and customer service excellence
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and very occasional weekends
