About the role

The role of the Associate Logistics Manager FP&A is to assist the Supply Finance Director – Logistics with Performance Management across the three Business Units including Health, Hygiene and Nutrition. The job will require rigorous monitoring of Operational KPIs, Performance against targets, Leading Monthly Reviews and fulfilling Reporting Requirements on a continuous basis including administrating the Forecasting Process.

 

With the complexity of being a Cross Business Individual, the role will be of pivotal importance in standardizing templates, KPIs, Reporting and Timelines

Your responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Supply Finance Director and Local Management Team in setting the top-down financial targets to the organization, ensuring that key business growth rates and objectives are met during this process.
  • Review, analyze and draw insights from the latest forecast and annual plan submission and support in the preparation of presentations during the formal review process.
  • Analyze and monitor the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), especially relating to financial metrics such as cost per case (warehouse, freight in, freight out), OOT, TL (LTL + TL), Headcount (WH), picking profile.
  • Coordinate and support the setting of financial plan targets for all supply services finance area (Warehouse and Logistics), working with all levels of the logistics team (performing assessment of cost reduction recommendations) 
  • Coordinate and support the preparation of the monthly latest view short term forecast process and summary for the Management Team and global Finance team.
  • Ad-hoc analysis & presentation preparation for the leadership team.
  • Provide exceptional level of support to all Finance teams and business partners during month-end close, forecast, and plan cycles.
  • Create and maintain month-end procedural documentation around ERP’s and reporting systems.
  • Special projects, as needed.
  • Control monthly productivity, raising risks and opportunities to the leadership team.

The experience we're looking for

  • 3-5 years’ work experience within Finance / Accounting
  • Experience in financial planning tools (Cognos TM1, E-planning, Anaplan etc) and reporting tools (Hyperion Financial Management, Cognos BI, SAP/BW, ProClarity, Insight for JDE etc)
  • Experience as a project team member on system implementation/upgrades
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting concepts, financial planning, and reporting.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills to allow for mutual understanding of problems and development of cooperative solutions.
  • Ability to make and influence decisions, multi-task and prioritize assignments

US salary ranges

USD $100,000.00 –  $150,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law.
