As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Heythrop Park, you will support the leadership and daily operations of one of our signature dining venues. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining brand standards, and fostering a high-performing team culture. In the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager, you will deputise and assume full responsibility for the department, ensuring continuity of service and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day operation of the dining venue, ensuring seamless service aligned with brand standards
- Deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager during periods of absence, maintaining operational leadership and decision-making
- Lead and motivate the team, promoting a culture of professionalism, warmth, and excellence
- Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to deliver memorable dining experiences
- Engage with guests, resolving issues with empathy and urgency
- Assist with labour management, stock control, and cost monitoring
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members
- Uphold brand values and service ethos across all guest interactions
Skills & Experience Required
- Experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a high-end restaurant, bar, or hospitality venue (ideally within a luxury hotel or resort)
- Strong leadership and team engagement skills
- Commercial awareness with experience in budgeting and cost control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding guest satisfaction
- Commitment to continuous improvement and brand standards
