Are you ready to take the lead in shaping ASDA’s national logistics strategy?
We’re looking for a proactive and analytical National Resource Manager to join our logistics team. This is a pivotal role focused on resource planning, performance optimisation, and strategic collaboration across our depot network and third-party partners.

What you’ll do:

• Lead resource planning across all ASDA depots, using volume analysis and historical data to create accurate and efficient plans.
• Support depot teams with input/output planning to ensure smooth operations and optimal resource utilisation.
• Manage third-party relationships, focusing on resource alignment and performance delivery.
• Align depot targets and KPI frameworks to drive consistency and excellence in planning.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to review current processes and explore future ways of working.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and transparency.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong experience in logistics planning and resource management, ideally in a national or multi-site environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse trends and translate insights into action.
• Familiarity with planning systems – knowledge of Microlise and Excel is a strong advantage.
• A collaborative approach and a passion for continuous improvement.
