°1824 is UMG’s in-house creative solutions team focused on the connection of artists and brands directly to fans through storytelling and experiences. Our offerings include content creation, ideation, PR, creator partnerships, experiences, and social strategy.
°1824 is seeking a full-time Strategic Partnerships Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative duties for our New York team. Candidate will support our student staff in coordinating and executing a high-volume of local fan events and experiences on and off campuses across the country. Candidate must be creative, timely with deadlines and comfortable in a fast-paced work environment. Candidate must also possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
How You’ll Create:
- Assist the New York based team with day-to-day demands including scheduling, project management, expenses, travel booking and at times on-site event support.
- Create visually appealing decks for presentations, pitches, and case studies.
- Research trends and identify new opportunities to reach fans with a focus on Gen Z
- Coordinate brainstorming and training sessions with part-time staff and provide creative input.
- Timely verbal, email and in-person communication with UMG executives and organization
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of the management team’s obligations to proactively assist and/or anticipate needs.
- Proof part-time staff reports for quality work and deadline completion.
- Approve weekly part-time staff time submissions, expenses and handle all Strategic Partnership PT-staff communications.
- Utilize project management system (Monday.com) to keep project & part-time staff information current.

Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with on-site event management (music or entertainment event experience preferred)
- Experience scheduling, expenses & travel booking a plus
- Highly creative and collaborative with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of regional music culture and marketing artists at a local level
Experience:
- Internship or work experience at an agency or similar setting, entertainment industry experience preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
