The Vision Behind Cleaning Express

We started Cleaning Express with the goal of improving living and working environments across London. We do this by offering the best, most ethical cleaning services in the industry. Our company is built around the needs of our customers and understanding how we can help make a difference in their lives in a sustainable way. We also apply this mentality to our staff because being happy at work makes a massive difference.

Our Approach

Our goal is to create a positive environment for our staff, as being happy at work motivates people to continually learn and improve. We strive to offer support to our cleaners at all times and treat them with kindness. As part of this, we ensure we are constructive in our feedback and take the time to bring everyone up to the high standards that form the foundation of Cleaning Express.

From the very beginning, we decided that providing training was important despite the business having no funds for a training budget initially. Some cleaners say that we are very demanding, but we believe it is important for cleaners to receive regular, constructive feedback about their work, as this is the only way to improve standards and customer satisfaction. We aim to personalise our approach to training for every member of staff to ensure they learn and that we accommodate their needs.

Here at Cleaning Express, we make sure we hire the best and most experienced cleaners who enjoy what they do and desire to excel. We conduct full screenings and carry out 1-2-1 interviews with all cleaners who apply for a job. All cleaners have to complete our training program and pass our internal skills test.

We carefully check identification, tax and residence documents and collect references before we look whether the candidate has the right personality and set of skills for the job. New cleaners initially work alongside one of our supervisors or they are tested by cleaning one of the homes of our management team.
