In Room Dining Manager – London
Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking a In Room Dining Manager, to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hospitality leader to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants – Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud – bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
As In Room Dining Manager, you will lead the In – Room Dining operation, delivering a refined, seamless dining experience for Guests and Members while optimising sales performance, developing talent, and maintaining rigorous cost control.
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of Room Service operations, ensuring exceptional service execution, brand alignment, and commercial effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include performing the following to the highest luxury hospitality standards:
- Provide clear, inspiring leadership to the Room Service team, driving operational excellence and supporting individual professional growth
- Ensure full compliance with all brand standards, service protocols, and quality expectations
- Monitor and evaluate guest satisfaction, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the in – room dining experience
- Stay attuned to culinary and service trends, proactively contributing ideas to elevate the range, presentation, and quality of Food & Beverage offerings
- Drive revenue optimisation while maintaining disciplined cost control and identifying opportunities for efficiency
- Develop and manage achievable budgets, forecasts, and short – and long – term departmental objectives
- Partner closely with the Learning & Development team to ensure structured, ongoing training through comprehensive training calendars
- Maintain a robust internal control environment, ensuring full compliance with hotel and company policies and procedures

A In Room Dining Manager within Hilton brands leads with service excellence, commercial awareness, and a guest – first mindset, collaborating seamlessly with teams across the hotel. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a similar in – room dining or Food & Beverage leadership role
- Strong people management and leadership capabilities
- Effective negotiation and influencing skills
- A positive, composed, and solution – focused attitude
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to perform consistently under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Impeccable grooming standards aligned with luxury brand expectations
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience within the hospitality industry
- Experience managing payroll, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Strong commercial awareness and industry knowledge
