We’re currently recruiting a dedicated Head Porter to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Restaurant Associates on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support the kitchen porter team during daily operations
  • Ensure all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are cleaned to high standards
  • Organise staff rotas and delegate tasks efficiently
  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff with deliveries and stock movement
  • Monitor cleaning schedules and hygiene standards
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations
  • Train new kitchen porter staff members
  • Maintain a positive and productive working environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or Senior Kitchen Porter
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
  • Reliable, hardworking, and professional attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
