Waiter – Signature Bar – London
Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch is seeking a Waiter for The Signature Bar to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hotelier to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants – Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud – bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

We are looking for hospitality professionals who are passionate about delivering an exceptional fives star guest experience, consistently upholding the worldclass service standards recognised by Forbes.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
As a Waiter in our Signature Bar, you will deliver an elevated guest experience from relaxed late afternoon through to a vibrant evening service. You will provide intuitive, refined service, demonstrate strong product knowledge, and ensure a seamless, engaging atmosphere throughout peak periods.
You will be responsible for the following, performed to the highest standards of luxury hospitality:
- Respond to guest enquiries with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency
- Serve food and drink in full compliance with licensing regulations for residents and non – residents
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage menus, ingredients, and offerings
- Follow established reporting procedures promptly should any operational or guest issues arise
- Ensure all Food & Beverage orders are delivered accurately, consistently, and within expected service times
- Uphold Hilton grooming and presentation standards, including uniform, cleanliness, and personal hygiene
- Comply fully with hotel security protocols, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation
What are we looking for?
Waiters within Hilton’s luxury portfolio represent the highest standards of service, presentation, and professionalism. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate:
- A consistently positive, polished, and guest – focused approach
- Clear, confident, and courteous communication skills
- A genuine commitment to delivering refined, high – touch daytime service
- Impeccable grooming and personal presentation
- Flexibility and adaptability across breakfast and lunch service periods
- The ability to perform effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience within Food & Beverage or a luxury hospitality environment is highly desirable.
- Experience with cash handling and point – of – sale systems
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene and safety regulations
