About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dependable Chef to join our catering team at Knook Camp, preparing and serving fresh, nutritious meals for approximately 500 Service Personnel daily in a busy military dining facility.
You’ll work within a structured kitchen environment, supporting consistent food quality, safety standards, and efficient service delivery across all meal periods.
Shift Pattern
Early Shift: 05:30 – 14:00
Late Shift: 10:00 – 18:30
Meal Service Times
Breakfast: 07:00 – 08:00
Lunch: 12:00 – 13:00
Dinner: 17:00 – 18:00
What We’re Looking For
✅ Previous experience in a similar chef or catering role – essential
? Relevant qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) – desirable
? Strong understanding of food hygiene and health & safety
? Reliable team player with a positive attitude
? Ability to travel to site independently
