At Durrington Junior, we are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced School Business Manager, or someone with relevant experience in business or industry, who would like to join our school. All about the role:We are looking for someone who: Is a qualified or has experience as a school business manager, or has been in an equivalent financial planning and managing roleHas a secure knowledge of health and safety, premises, risk, procurement, financial and asset management. Is well presented and articulate, with good communication skills;Has strong interpersonal skills and is able to communicate with a variety of pupils, staff, parents and governorsHas good attention to detail and organisational skills;Is self-motivated dedicated and consistent;Has the ability to handle problems quickly and efficiently, and make effective decisions;Is a strong team player, who can use their own initiative;Has a positive and flexible attitude;Has sound IT skills, with preferably a knowledge of SIMS and FMS or other Management Information Software We can offer the successful candidate: An ambitious and vibrant place to work, with enthusiastic children and supportive staff who are passionate about learning;A workplace where everyone feels valued and supported;Opportunities for training.A supportive and clearly defined induction procedure.
