SW Engineer II – United States of America

At Stats Perform, we’re looking for a dedicated Senior QA Engineer with a love for web-based systems to strengthen our PressBox Live team. In this role, you’ll not only ensure the quality of our unique product, but also contribute to the discovery of engaging insights and stories, powered by historical sports data from all corners of the globe.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Championing the adoption of QA processes within the team, building robust QA methodologies, and automated test suites, thereby promoting a culture of quality.
  • Engaging closely with the team with a primary focus on the backend of our application, using tools such as GraphQL, TypeScript, and AWS.
  • Collaborating with the frontend team to ensure an integrated approach that results in high-quality products.
  • Developing and implementing resilient QA processes, which may include continuous integration and potentially continuous delivery, in a supportive team environment.

 

Skills and qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience in establishing QA processes.
  • Proficiency in test automation with JavaScript/TypeScript (if you’ve used Cypress, that’s a bonus, but we welcome experience with other frameworks too).
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration (experience with Continuous Delivery would be beneficial).
  • Ability to thrive in distributed teams and foster a sense of collaboration.
  • Practical experience with GraphQL, TypeScript, and AWS.

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience mentoring junior QAs, as we’re committed to professional growth and knowledge sharing.
