This is an exciting opportunity to join De Montfort University’s fast-paced People Services function and develop into a confident, capable HR leader.
We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in HR administration, coordination, or advisory work — ideally with some supervisory or junior management experience — who is keen to enhance their leadership skills through structured development and formal qualification.
About the Role:
Embedded within the People Operations team, you will supervise frontline People Support Specialists, helping to shape and enhance the delivery of transactional HR services across our campuses. You’ll gain hands-on management experience while working towards a nationally recognised Level 5 Leadership Apprenticeship.
This apprenticeship will build on your existing HR expertise, equipping you with the tools, confidence and capability to lead people and manage operational delivery effectively. Upon successful completion, you’ll have the opportunity to progress to the role of People Services Support Manager, continuing your leadership journey within DMU.
