Head of Culinary Operations – ASDA Cafes

12-Month Fixed Term Contract | £60,000 per annum | Remote with UK travel | 40 hours per week

What you’ll be doing:

  • Leading the NPD process to deliver exciting, profitable menus for ASDA Cafes.

  • Owning the Food Development process, ensuring photoshoots, show-and-tells, and launches are seamless.

  • Partnering with suppliers and supply chain teams to deliver innovative products on time and on budget.

  • Forecasting seasonal ranges to minimise stock risks while keeping offers fresh and relevant.

  • Creating and maintaining recipes, costings, and operational support materials.

  • Keeping a close eye on food trends and market insights to inspire new ideas.

  • Building strong relationships across teams and supporting large-scale site changes when needed.

What we’re looking for:

  • A proven track record in foodservice operations and product development.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance creativity with cost control.

  • Confident communicator with excellent analytical and organisational skills.

  • Experience in multi-site operations and delivering consistent results.

  • Someone who can inspire trust, build partnerships, and bring fresh ideas to the table.
