Casual Food Service Assistant – Simonswood, Liverpool

Job Introduction

Liverpool Football Club are looking for an experienced Front of House professional to join our casual team. Based at our AXA Training Centre, you’ll set up and deliver excellent food service across lounges, offices, and dining areas.


What will you be doing?

  • Set up and present dining spaces, lounges, tables, and food service stations, including buffets and events (internal & external).
  • Support the dietary needs of players and staff as directed by the nutrition team.
  • Assist the travel team for home/away fixtures and training camps when required.
  • Comply with all health, safety, and food safety legislation.
  • Maintain food service standards in line with SOPs and communicate allergen information to guests.
  • Attend all required training.
  • Carry out duties across all sites, including Anfield Stadium, as needed.


Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for an experienced Front of House professional with a background in catering. Applicants must have previous experience in a customer-facing catering environment and hold a basic Food Hygiene qualification. You’ll be confident and effective in both verbal and written communication, well presented, and able to build strong relationships. Organised and proactive, you’ll thrive under pressure, delivering excellent customer service while supporting hands-on in the kitchen. You should be comfortable setting up and preparing for service, as well as ensuring smooth delivery. 

Please note, the average working day at AXA Training Centre begins at 7am, so reliable transport to arrive on time is essential.
