About the role

The Programme Manager (Undergraduate) will work alongside the Senior Education Manager and the Programme Manager (Postgraduate) to lead, develop and effectively line manage the team responsible for education support for all undergraduate taught students in the Department of War Studies.
 
The postholder will contribute to strategic planning, the design and implementation of new systems and processes, and programme development and delivery, ensuring the provision of a high level of service to both students and staff. They will also work to harmonise processes and procedures within the UG and PGT teams in collaboration with the Senior Education Manager.
 
The postholder will work in close partnership with a wide range of stakeholders, including Programme Directors, module leads, Assessment Sub-Board Chairs and Professional Services colleagues across the university. They will be required maintain up to date knowledge of programme and College regulations, providing accurate guidance to colleagues and students as required and ensuring all quality assurance processes are followed.
 
This is a hybrid role based at our Strand Campus.
 
The role is offered as fixed-term contract until 31 July 2026, and may if wished (and with the support of your substantive line management) be undertaken as a fixed-term secondment.
