Lead Analytics Manager – Supply Chain – Booker Group

Strategic Network Planning
- Lead the development of long-term plans for our supply chain network, ensuring we’re set up to meet future demand efficiently
- Use data and scenario modelling to evaluate network utilisation and identify opportunities for optimisation
- Collaborate with logistics, commercial, and operational teams to align network design with business strategy
Reporting & Insight
- Own and evolve our reporting suite for inbound capacity, warehouse utilisation, and supplier performance
- Build dashboards and tools that provide clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders
- Help the business make smarter decisions by turning complex data into compelling business case
Automation & Simplification
- Identify manual processes that can be automated to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Work closely with IT and data teams to streamline data flows and reduce system complexity
- Lead the simplification of legacy tools and reporting platforms to improve usability and reduce duplication
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and develop a small team of analysts, fostering a culture of curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement
- Act as a connector between supply chain, commercial, and technology teams
- Champion data-driven thinking across the wider Booker business
Experience in supply chain analytics, planning, or strategy—ideally within Booker, Tesco, or a similar environment
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL & Python
A track record of simplifying complex systems and driving automation
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A collaborative mindset and a passion for making things better
Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Engineering, Maths, Business)
Shift Hours: 38 hours hrs per week (Monday – Friday)
