Senior Administrator (A3) – St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School – SW15 2QD

Job Introduction

36 Hours per week

Term Time only (39 Weeks)

Required for November 2025

 

We are a popular primary school in South West London who wish to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who is well organised, has initiative and can demonstrate excellent administrative skills. We offer a friendly and supportive environment and excellent professional development opportunities.

 

Working in the office, you will need to have a positive, friendly and approachable manner, while maintaining confidentiality at all times. Good communication skills are essential as is the knowledge of a variety of ICT packages. Knowledge and experience of Arbor  management information system would be preferred but is not essential.

 

The post will involve (please also refer to the job description).

 

  • Contributing to the planning, development and organisation of administration systems, procedures and policies that facilitate the smooth operation of the school.
  • Analysing and evaluating data and information to produce relevant reports including HR and finance.
  • Achieving value for money when assisting with procurement and sponsorship. 
  • Undertake the administration of human resources matters including contracts of employment

 

You will:

 

  • Have a professional and friendly manner.
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Be flexible and able to work on your own or as part of a team.
  • Have excellent ICT skills and be proficient in a range of software.
  • Have excellent time management skills, be able to multi task and solve problems using your own initiative.

 

Qualifications in English or Maths and an NVQ3, degree or equivalent are essential.
