The Volunteering and Outreach team have successfully delivered a wide-ranging volunteering and community sport programme for the last 30 years. Access to our high quality facilities and excellent community links provide us with scope to develop the programme further, offering greater opportunities, initiatives and projects.
The Volunteering and Community Sport Facilitator role will support the delivery of the current volunteering and outreach programme, whilst working with the team to identify and develop new community volunteering opportunities. This is a varied role which will range from the recruitment and processing of coaches and volunteers, promotion and marketing of activity, the recording of volunteering activity, liaising with participants, volunteers and community partners.
The role is hands on, there will be a requirement to both train volunteers in activity delivery and personally deliver activities to participants where necessary. Therefore the role requires someone with project development and sport delivery experience.
