Rate of Pay: up to £15 per hour 

Location: Royal Opera House, WC2E 9DD

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
  • Provide information on menu items, including allergies, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience through upselling.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are fresh and properly stored.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with serving techniques and food safety, such allergies practices is essential.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Experience in kitchen or culinary roles would be advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables at once.
  • A genuine passion for guest services and creating memorable dining experiences.
