About the job you’re considering

You will contribute to all technical aspects of implementing Service Management, Service Integration, and Management solutions for both current and prospective clients using the ServiceNow Platform. This role requires a strong understanding of the ServiceNow Platform and the technologies it integrates with, to deliver development outcomes aligned with business needs.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

  • Play a central role in the technical implementation of ServiceNow, applying Service Management practices aligned with Capgemini and industry standards
  • Co-design and develop new ServiceNow applications, solutions, and services as needed
  • Take ownership of complex business requirements and deliver them with support from the ServiceNow Business Analyst
  • Collaborate with the Business Analyst to estimate effort for release planning
  • Apply your technical expertise to ensure optimization and compliance in the use of the ServiceNow Platform by IT organizations

Your skills and experience

  • Experience administering the ServiceNow Platform and working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Proficiency in scripting languages and frameworks: JavaScript, Angular/AngularJS, HTML, CSS, AJAX, and Jelly
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of relational database concepts
  • Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, email infrastructure, web services, and ITOM

Preferred Certifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
    ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
    ServiceNow Platform Implementation Specialist

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
