Salary: £2 5,185 – £25, 989 pro rata (actual salary £12,223 – £12,593)
Hours: 17.5 hours per week, 38 weeks of the year (term time only)
Contract: Fixed term until 31 st August 2026 (There may be an opportunity to increase the hours and to extend the contract length)

Semley CE VA Primary School, is vibrant and welcoming, set in a beautiful village near Shaftesbury on the Dorset / Wiltshire border, and graded as ‘good’ by Ofsted (May 2023). We are very proud of our children who live out the school values whilst enjoying learning and challenging themselves both inside and outside the classroom.
All about the role:
We have a role for a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated pool of TAs who provide invaluable support to our children.
The successful candidates will be confident in supporting all areas of the curriculum and work confidently with a 1:1, small group interventions or with the whole class. This role will predominantly involve working with an individual child or a couple of children within the classroom. Ideally they will have previous experience of supporting learning within the classroom but most importantly will be adaptable, patient and enjoy working as part of a team.
