About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable People Advisor to join our People team. This role is key to delivering timely and accurate HR advice to line managers across the business, both face-to-face and remotely. You will ensure all guidance aligns with current employment legislation, company policies, and established precedents.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the People Shared Services Manager in delivering a high-quality, efficient HR shared service across the Group.
- Provide pragmatic advice on HR policies and processes to managers and employees.
- Assist People Partners with business priorities such as redundancy consultations and TUPE.
- Proactively manage employee relations cases, ensuring timely resolution.
- Oversee the production of accurate HR documentation in collaboration with HR Administrators.
- Identify potential risks and propose mitigating actions, supporting early conciliation and tribunal cases where necessary.
- Maintain the HRIS to ensure accurate reporting of employee relations data.
- Coach and mentor line managers on employee relations matters.
- Support HR Administrators in developing their ability to provide first-line advice.
- Stay up to date with employment law and HR best practice.
Person Specification
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- CIPD Level 5 qualification
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and feedback skills
- Ability to deliver high-quality HR services
- Experience working within a Shared Service HR team (desirable)

- Employment law solicitors and occupational health providers
