We are seeking an experienced and adaptable CCTV Supervisor to safeguard a prominent facility in London.
The CCTV Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day function of the Security operation, they must familiarise themselves with duties that need to be fulfilled, to be resilient to stepping down and stepping up to meet the operational needs, namely, assisting/stepping up to the Duty Security Manager.
The primary responsibilities is to monitor and interrogate the CCTV & Access Control Systems, to proactively identify any suspicious behaviour and acts or any possible threats to the building and our occupants, as well as tracking the movement of staff, visitors & contractors, looking for potential hostile reconnaissance taking place. For the role to be completed efficiently, you must be exceedingly observant with a high level of concentration, and be able to divide your attention in order to monitor multiple occurrences taking place at a single setting.

Pay Rate: £16.59 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off, days and nights
Location: EC3M, London.

Must have:
- Valid SIA licence
- CCTV license
- Good customer service and communication skills
- CCTV Security Supervisor experience -minimum 1 year
- Excellent Organisational and Time Management skills
- Administration skills
- Experience within Cooperate Security (Min 1 Year)
- Surveillance skills and detail orientation
- 5 year checkable work history
- IT literate- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
Main Duties
-
- Monitor the CCTV Cameras closely and identify any threats or suspicious behaviour
o Operating, monitoring, and responding to security and safety systems including CCTV, Access
Control, Alarms monitoring and Fire alarms
o Provide full handover at end of shift to the oncoming DSM/CCTV Supervisor and families
yourself with the DSM’s handover
o Book the team on duty using the automated system
o Work closely with the Duty Shift Manager in running the day-to-day security operation and
ensure each member of the team maintain high level of discipline
o Follow the directions of the Security Shift Manager & Security Manager
o To deputise for the Shift Manager whenever required
o Contribute with any level of ideas that may improve the level of service
o Fully understand, comprehend and partake in Loading Bay, Front of House, Post Room and/or
Patrol duties
o Conduct external and various internal patrol duties by check all electronic patrol points and
report any defects
o Ability to work in a highly demanding Security Control Room
o Support occupiers, contractors, visitors and tourists with enquiries
o Keys, Radio & Passes distribution management
o Report writing following security investigations or an incident, using the escalation procedures
o Report and maintain a written record of all faults / incidents, using client applications
o Ask for advice from the DSM or Security Manager
o Management of all communications from the Security Control Room, namely, radio &
telecommunications
o To maintain, through compliance with the Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessment, Policies
& Procedures
o The safety and security of all staff, contractors and visitors to designated areas of work
o Maintaining the Daily Occurrence Book (eDOB) in line with the SOP
o To bring to the immediate attention of Duty Shift Manager, Security Manager and/or Property
Management Team of any incident or complaint from any quarter and keep appraised of
events on site
o Ensure all record keeping maintain accuracy
o Ensure team members are trained and deliver to a high standard
o Fulfil AdHoc duties / tasks assigned to the highest standards
o To ensure all instructions given to you in relation to the Data Protection Act 1998 are fully
implemented at all times
o Be prepared to step down and step up due to operational requirements
o Proactive seek to develop and learn for personal/operational gain
o Ensure your working environment is always clean, presentable
