About The Role:

  • Strong Communication Skills: You’re confident writing reports, building business cases, and presenting your ideas to a wide audience.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You understand how to bring people with you—from council colleagues to community members.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: You spot challenges before they arise and tackle them with creativity and collaboration.
  • Commitment to Quality: You consistently deliver on-time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Project management qualification (or working towards one)
  • Knowledge of capital delivery processes in the public or voluntary sector
  • Familiarity with procurement and budget management in local government
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g. Gantt charts, risk registers, benefits maps)
