We do this by building shared success with our customers and ensuring our trusted Air Care, Surface, Laundry, and Pest Control products are accessible both in-store and online. About the role
As Senior National Account Manager for ASDA, you’ll lead the commercial strategy and execution across all Essential Home categories, driving growth and delivering results in one of our most strategic retail partnerships. You’ll own the full P&L, develop and execute joint business plans, and ensure our products are performing across the store and online.
In this leadership role, you’ll also be responsible for coaching and developing a National Account Manager and/or Executive-fostering a high-performance culture and building capability within the team. Operating in a fast-paced, agile environment, you’ll be empowered to make bold decisions, influence customer relationships, and shape the future of our categories in ASDA.
Your responsibilities
- Achieve Net Revenue, Gross Margin & Net Working Capital targets for the account portfolio
- Achieve account 4P targets (Product, Placement, Price & Promotion)
- Provide challenge within a Category Business Team from a customer perspective
- Develop multi-level relationships with the account
- Lead, direct, control & manage the development of direct report(s)
- Achievement of account sales and trade investment targets for allocated accoun
- Secure trading and distribution/promotion agreements in line with nominated major account’s profile (including share of shelf/visibility at POS/Distribution penetration across product range/ Retail Pricing/Consumer and Trade Promotions and Discounts).
The experience we’re looking for
- Educated to a high standard, with major account experience gained in FMCG sales, we want someone who has the hunger and desire to take our business to the next level.

- Proven track record of P&L management, budget delivery and growth momentum
- Demonstrate financial and commercial acumen and strategic thinking, be analytical and creative
- Confident and capable of operating at all levels
- An interest and passion for entrepreneurship is critical
