We’re currently recruiting a dedicated Mess Clark to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and building a relationship with relevant committee members.
- Create new mess members and ensure mess memberships/bills are up to date.
- Keeping mess member records up to date
- Creating mess bills and I&Es
- Recording of PAYD and Chits
- Processing of supplier invoices
- Support debt management
- Daily cash checks
- Recording of income
- Creation of sales orders
- Posting of journals during month end to ensure SAP is closed correctly reflecting mess bills.
- Producing the monthly mess bills
- Pulling together the I&E
- Debt reporting
Our ideal Mess Clark will:
- Looking to progress a career in Finance with relevant qualifications [e.g. AAT]
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have an inquisitive and intriguing outlook with confidence to approach the business
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical and system skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- SAP experience (desirable)
