Your Role:
- Architect and deliver modern data solutions tailored for the insurance sector.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Azure and Databricks platforms.
- Implement medallion-style data architectures for scalable and maintainable pipelines.
- Integrate data from diverse insurance systems—policy, claims, quotes, and pricing.
- Design domain-driven and dimensional data models to support analytics and reporting.
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across all layers of the architecture.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of cloud-based data solutions.
- Apply best practices in data engineering, including CI/CD and automation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data architecture.
Your Profile:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures on Azure and Databricks, following the medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) for structured and unstructured data
- Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines for both batch and real-time data ingestion using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and event-driven frameworks
- Model insurance data across domains such as policy, claims, quotes, and pricing using both domain-driven (3NF) and dimensional (star/snowflake) schemas
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and data consumers to define data products that align with operational and analytical needs
- Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance using tools like Unity Catalog, Collibra, and metadata-driven frameworks
