We operate the National Gambling Helpline, provide direct support for anyone who is affected by gambling, create awareness about safer gambling and support pathways, and encourage an effective approach to safer gambling within the gambling industry.
The Role
We’re recruiting a Team Leader for one of our regional services that supports people affected by gambling. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is passionate about leading and supporting staff, as well as having a client centred approach to recovery for our client group. We are rooted in change behaviour as a goal for those seeking support and, as the leader of a group of Gambling Support Practitioners, you will ensure that all our clients receive exceptional support and assistance from the team.

The role also includes performance monitoring and reporting, alongside assisting with delivery against contractual and financial requirements.
About You
You will have strong leadership and people management abilities and be someone who takes pleasure from being a compassionate leader, supporting individuals in their professional development, alongside setting and managing high standards in the performance and quality of the service provided.
You will have a keen determination to grow, develop and continually improve the service for those in need of our support, bringing the team with you to harness the collective strengths and talents of individuals.
Using your excellent communication skills to build and maintain relationships, you will seek opportunities to grow and develop the reach and impact of the service across a wide range of external stakeholders and communities across the region.
You will be located in close proximity to the region as the role requires hands on delivery and support across the area with both staff engagement as well as involved outreach in many locations and venues.
