We’re looking for a passionate, people-first Neighbourhood Team Manager to help shape and lead our frontline housing services. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving performance, developing your team, and building strong connections with residents and partners across our communities.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of Neighbourhood Coordinators to deliver outstanding housing services

  • Promote visibility and accountability in our neighbourhoods being a true ambassador of PA Housing

  • Make sure residents can influence services and shape improvements through inclusive engagement

  • Drive forward community-focused services that are sustainable, vibrant, and tailored to local needs

  • Monitor performance, support service improvement, and resolve root causes of complaints

  • Manage community engagement budgets and ensure all activities deliver value and impact

  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, residents, contractors, and local partners

  • Support tenancy management from inspections and audits to resolving low-level disputes

  • Actively contribute to change, innovation, and a culture of continuous improvement

What we’re looking for:

  • Have experience managing a team in a housing or customer-focused environment

  • Understand housing management best practice, legislation, and resident engagement

  • Are a confident leader with strong coaching, communication, and decision-making skills

  • Can manage performance and budgets, spot improvement opportunities, and drive results

  • Are passionate about customer service and building safe, inclusive, and proud communities

  • Work collaboratively, adapt to change, and aren’t afraid to challenge the norm

  • Have a degree or relevant housing/management qualification (or equivalent experience)

This role requires of the successful candidate to complete a standard DBS check. A standard DBS check will show any spent and unspent convictions.

So why do we need to know this information? This role will be required to visit / support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing.

Having unspent convictions will not necessarily preclude you from being recruited into the role; if you are potentially the successful candidate, we will complete a risk assessment with you to understand the circumstances around your conviction, how relevant they are to the post you have applied for and what remedial action , if any, have you have taken since your conviction.
