Following a recent restructure, the newly created role of Marketing Manager (Brand and Campaigns) is essential in establishing and promoting a creative centre of excellence within the Marketing and Admissions directorate. This position will be instrumental in developing insight-led marketing strategies to increase brand awareness across local communities and to enhance student recruitment for 16-19 year Further Education, Apprenticeships, Higher Education, and Adult learners. Working with the Director of Marketing, Communications and Admissions, the Marketing Manager (Brand and Campaigns) will lead on strategic brand positioning and provide operational management for the delivery for multi-channel campaigns to engage target audiences throughout the student recruitment cycle, from increasing awareness to optimising enrolment. Leading a small team of College Marketing Officers, Website Manager and Designers, the Marketing Manager will develop engaging content to promote facilities and courses, including PR stories, social media, video creation, publications and website content. We are looking for an individual who is passionate, with heaps of energy and initiative. With your natural creative flair, you will have the ability to build the South Essex College brand through awareness campaigns and conversion programmes, turning daily college life into captivating content that truly resonates with our target audience. With a strong marketing background, you will be highly organised, persuasive, an exceptional communicator and have the desire to excel in this newly created role. The role holder will work alongside the Marketing Manager (PR and Communications) and will report to the Director of Marketing, Communications and Admissions.
