Chemical Engineer – Portlaoise
Due to continued growth, expanded and new contracts, Enva have an extremely exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Graduate Chemical Engineer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, simulation, and optimization of chemical processes.
- Support plant operations through data analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in commissioning, startup, and testing of new equipment or processes.
- Prepare technical documentation.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and pilot plant tests to validate process changes or new concepts.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for processes and projects.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations and company standards.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, technologies, and innovations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a practical, analytical mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and process simulation software.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Team player with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
