Title: Property Technical Lead
Salary Location Dependent: £59,488 Nottingham – London £65,520
Location Beeston/Farringdon
Full Time Permanent Post 37.5hrs per week
This role
As the Property Technical Lead within the Compliance and Technical department, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth handover process with development and maintaining data on lifecycle costs and design issues. You will work closely with various departments, including Building Safety, Planned and Reactive Repair, and Development, to ensure equipment servicing and maintenance are on schedule and warranty information is properly documented.
As the technical design lead for the property directorate, you will play a crucial role in shaping our new build schemes and developing Employer’s Requirements. You will incorporate feedback from the Heads of Repairs & Compliance and seek approval from the relevant Head of Service within the Property Directorate. Additionally, you will liaise with our Development Directorate to ensure all designs are signed off and meet our high standards.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Strong understanding of as-designed and as-built technical data.
- Expertise in gas, renewable heating and energy systems, fire equipment, M&E, electrical, lifting equipment, access control systems, roof safety, and water systems.
- Ability to professionally represent MTVH externally and build relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Experience in monitoring new build programmes and suggesting improvements.
- Ability to source and maintain key contacts for PDTs.
- Strong organisational and documentation skills.
- Ability to interface with Repairs and ensure warranty information is accurate.
- Experience in reviewing specifications, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to report on whole life costs and propose innovative improvements.
- Strong understanding of compliance streams and digital offers.
- Experience in monitoring defect claims and preparing reports.
