Project Manager (FTC) – Home Based, United Kingdom

Salary: Up to £63,000 (Dependent on Experience)

We are on the hunt for an experienced Project Manager to join us through a period of transformation and change. We’re looking for candidates with a successful track record of delivery in the insurance and finance industries.

This role is fully remote, so can be performed from home. But if you’re keen to get into the Halifax office, you can too!

This would be a 6 month fixed term contract.

What will I be doing?

  • Accountable for the definition, documentation and successful delivery of the project.
  • Planning, direction, shaping and management of the end-to-end delivery in line with business needs and within agreed parameters of cost, timescales and quality
  • Total scope and full budget management
  • Monitoring and controlling resources, and regularly reviewing forecast vs actuals, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and managing expectations of all project stakeholders
  • Providing direction and structure to assigned project activities establishing clear, precise goals, objectives and timeframes

You should apply if you have…

  • Experience of delivering projects within the financial services sector, whilst ensuring compliance with financial regulation requirements
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and maintain control of scope
  • Experience of working within fast-paced, multi-channel, customer-focused organisations, within the finance sector
  • Commercial and business understanding of key project drivers
  • Proven success in change management, process and methodologies, with proficient use of Project Management tools such as Confluence, JIRA, Visio and Microsoft packages
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with an ability to engage with all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent understanding of commercial and financial management, budget control and cost optimisation
  • Experience in influencing and negotiating with 3rd party suppliers and partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes
