Sounds great, what will I be doing?

The role requires experience working with individuals who may have complex needs, including those affected by trauma, and who may display challenging behaviours. Candidates should have experience maintaining professional boundaries while using authority appropriately and working in a pro-social, supportive way. Experience in team-based environments, particularly in roles involving practical tasks such as cooking or household duties, is beneficial. Familiarity with safeguarding practices and working within multi-agency settings is also important.

Here’s what the team will be looking for

Applicants should have experience working with individuals who may have experienced trauma and can present a range of emotional and behavioural challenges. The role demands the ability to maintain clear boundaries and use authority in a fair and constructive way while promoting positive, pro-social engagement. Strong communication skills, optimism about people’s ability to change, and a flexible, team-oriented approach are essential. Candidates must be able to make sound decisions, accurately record and share information within confidentiality guidelines, and confidently handle practical tasks like cooking or gardening. A solid understanding of safeguarding issues and appropriate response practices is also required.

  • Face to face interview: Now you will have face to face interview with the hiring manager. Our interviews are value and competency based.
