Role responsibilities

The Marketing Executive (Campaigns) will increase the awareness and usage of Transport for Wales (TfW) services, primarily focussing on rail services, through support and coordination of digital and traditional marketing and communications.

  • Assist the Head of Campaigns and Marketing Managers where required by supporting with the planning, design and implementation of any marketing plans and associated campaigns, literature and promotional initiatives for B2C and B2B TfW campaigns to ensure successful delivery to market.
  • Support Head of Campaigns, Marketing Managers and Marketing Analyst by interpreting data and gathering information to plan and deliver marketing activities and campaigns to the target audience in the most efficient way.
  • Assist the Head of Campaigns and Marketing Managers by providing content support in the writing of social media, internal communications, email and web content aligned to marketing campaigns to support in the delivery of campaigns to market across channels.
  • Working with Head of Campaigns and other key internal and external stakeholders where applicable, to deliver marketing campaigns, activities and activations to promote services, products and offers across different modes of transport, as well as multimodal journeys.

Who we’re looking for

  • Experience of working in a marketing or communications team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrable experience of interacting with a range of people.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word.
  • Good written skills with the ability work to Tone of Voice guidelines, and experience writing copy for print, social or digital assets.

Welsh Language Skills

The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
