Interview process: Two-stages: 1. Teams Interview and if successful, 2. face-to-face with the Hiring Manager at our Burton Latimer site.
Working pattern: Hybrid but you will need to flexible depending on team tasks and resources. Weetabix Wednesday is a non-negotiable where we all come into the office for business partnering and meetings.

The purpose of this role is
·     Mentor and develop the 3rd Line Support Team, ensuring current IT infrastructure is understood, appropriate documentation is in place, and the team has knowledge of ongoing operation and maintenance.
·      Identify, remediate and act as an escalation point for complex technical issues
·      Overseeing backups and disaster recovery processes
·      Collaborate with infrastructure/application architecture to ensure that technical designs are complete, approved and clearly understood
·      Manage build resources and coordinate build activities to ensure new or amended services are seamlessly transitioned into support.
·      Provide representation for IT infrastructure to IT governance processes. Ensure that all changes to IT infrastructure are appropriately validated and approved via the TDA and CAB processes.
·      Support IT Security in delivering key information security risk related initiatives
·      Lead initiatives to reduce or eliminate manual or repetitive tasks, improving end-to-end infrastructure health and performance
·      Manage third party vendor relationships and hold them accountable for delivery of any hosted or outsourced Infrastructure support functions
·      Define and report against key metrics that demonstrate infrastructure effectiveness
·      Deliver within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) to achieve agreed KPI’s.
Requirements
Non-negotiables
·      A hands-on leader with a track record of managing 3rd Line Support Teams in a fast-paced environment
·      Experience building and mentoring high-performing teams with a focus on accountability and collaboration
·      Experience with the following products and technologies: VMware, MS OS, SAN, SQL, LAN, WAN, Office 365, Exchange, SCCM,
·      Excellent communicator with the ability to reduce complex issues and ideas to simple terms and express these both to non-technical and highly technical audiences.
·      Ability to work in a pressurised environment with conflicting priorities, ensuring that deadlines are met to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service.
·      Experience with vulnerability management & ITIL
Nice to haves
·      Experience working in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMGC) environment
·      Experience with the following products and technologies: Public Cloud, Cisco, Checkpoint, Nortel, Avaya, Linux servers
Technical/professional qualifications:
·      Relevant infrastructure-related qualifications from one or more of the following vendors: (Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, Pure Storage, Veeam)
