As an Account Executive, you\’ll be responsible
will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and closing new business opportunities, focusing on selling Ideagen’s SaaS solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the specific verticals, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and research potential clients wihtin the Education, Healthcare, Aged Care, and Government Sectors
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to target and engage potential clients.
- Generate leads through various methods including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Sales Process Management:
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and pain points.
- Present and demonstrate Ideagen\’s SaaS solutions, highlighting their value propositions and benefits tailored to the specific verticals.
- Pepare and deliver proposals and presentations to perspective clients.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring smooth handover to the implementation and customer success teams.
- Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and meetings.
- Act as the main point of contact for new clients during the initial stages of the relationship.
- Foster partnerships and alliances with industry associations and key stakeholders.
- Market and Industry Expertise:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape within the Education, Healthcare, Aged Care, and Government Sectors.
- Provide market feedback to the product development and marketing teams to ensure our solutions meet client needs and remain competitive.
- Reporting and Performance Tracking:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and forecasts for senior management.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
Skills and Experience:
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within the Education, Healthcare, Aged Care, or Government sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully selling SaaS solutions and achieving sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the specific needs and challenges faced by organizations within the targeted verticals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel within the ANZ region as required.
