Due to some exciting changes in our Systems Development Departmentwe are looking to add some Senior System Testers / Software Developer Engineers in Test to our team. You willhelp to build out a quality automation suite to test the Societyâ€™s technologiesto support high quality releases in an agile environment. Working closely withother technology specialists to ensure that test results can be delivered athigh speed with quality of delivery.
As part of this role you will analyse and understand businessrequirements and priorities and then design and develop solutions to achievethe desired outcome. You will also react to any problems that arise during BAUor following new releases, making a thorough evaluation and correcting asnecessary.
You will document detailed test plans to cover all aspectsof the testing required. Create automated test scripts where required thatalign with the automation framework along with ensuring these test scripts arekept up to date and relevant.
You will deliver work that has emphasis on business servicelevels, productivity, efficiency and long-term benefits for the Society,ensuring all solutions are delivered with adherence to the appropriatecontrols, standards and guidance.
We are looking for someone who has exceptional attention todetail with strong problem-solving skills. You will work with colleagues acrossnot only Systems Development but across the Society, so someone with goodcommunication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationshipsis key.
You will have a proven track record of performance testinginternet driven applications, designing thorough UI automation to improvetesting efficiency and hands on experience of automation and performancetesting tools. Youâ€™ll also have previous experience of effectively meetingdeadlines, planning and organising own workload to focus on priorities and alsoworking on your own development to update skills where needed.

- ReadyAPI, Groovy Scripting
- Source Control â€“ TFS, AzureDevops
- CI/CD tool chains
- Programming experience
- Visual Studio
- UI Automation Tools and Frameworks, e.g. TestComplete, Selenium
