Salary Range: £11.68 – £12.01 per hour

Brandon Trust is a charity supporting people with a learning disability, autism or both to live life in the way they choose. Enabling individuals to achieve their goals, which brings a sense of fulfilment, as well as an opportunity to develop your career.

As a ‘waking nights support worker’ you’ll have a guaranteed number of hours work each week on a rolling rota. You’ll work nights/evenings, generally 9.15pm to 7.15am, covering four consecutive nights one week and three consecutive nights the next. There will also be occasional daytime working, for example to attend training courses. We have waking night contracts available in across our services in Weston-Super-Mare

Your responsibilities:  

  • To empower the people we support to live the lives they want to lead 

  • To develop daily living skills. 

  • Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training or friendships 

  • To contribute to, develop and implement the individuals care plans. 

  • To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals. 

  • Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support.
