Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, UK – Hybrid – at least one day per week in the Peterborough office
Contract / Shift: Permanent, Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00

As a Supply Chain Management Accountant, you will be at the heart of our business, delivering impactful financial decisions across our supply chain function.
Your role will ensure finance is integrated into core operational processes and that key stakeholders have the financial insight to improve performance and cost efficiencies.
Working within a close-knit finance team, your contributions will support the overall growth and profitability of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and review of monthly P&L and balance sheet reconciliations, along with variance analysis.
- Supporting the preparation of financial budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Completing period end tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
- Providing relevant and clear information to support operational decision-making and performance management.
- Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline reporting and financial processes.
- Assisting with ad hoc analysis and supporting various supply chain projects.
- Building effective working relationships with Operations, Transport, Planning, and Procurement teams.

- Part Qualified or Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
- Experience in Management Accounting within a supply chain or manufacturing environment is desirable.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Someone who is always looking for ways to add value and improve processes.
- A Clear Communicator – able to present financial information concisely and effectively.
- Confident to Challenge & have an ability to engage stakeholders constructively to drive better business outcomes.
- Resilient and Adaptable thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing deadlines and priorities effectively.
