Description:
Nuneaton Children’s Team are looking for enthusiastic and motivated social workers to join our team. We are a case management/long-term team where social workers have caseloads of Child In Need, Child Protection, Children in Care, care proceedings and adoption.
To support Children’s Social Work Practice, to ensure delivery of high-quality assessments and support to children and their families.
To assist Team Leader in the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of services to Children and Families in accordance with Warwickshire Children and Families’ Policies and Procedures.
To manage a caseload of Child In Need, Child Protection, Children In care and Care proceedings (dependant on experience)
This is a 37 hour per week position where you will be joining a busy and fast paced team but one with a very supportive and cohesive team culture where the ethos is on child focused work aimed at improving outcomes and enhancing life experiences for children and young people. We adopt a positive, can do and problem-solving approach to our work based on the restorative practice model; we set ourselves high standards and are always keen to improve upon our best.

Key Requirements
Professional Social Work qualification (MA/BA/BSc in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work (CQSW))
SWE registration
Experience in children’s social work.
Have excellent analytical skills with ability to make well informed decisions
Have the ability to record and produce concise, effective and accuratereports
Have good communication skills with the ability to build relationships, engage with children and families
