Levy UK are on the lookout for a creative Senior Sous Chef to join the team!

Overall Purpose of the Role

• To assist the Head Chef in producing meals and services within the required deadlines
• Meeting the company standards, complying with the Levy Restaurants vision and values
• Meeting customer satisfaction in everything you do
• To work within the catering operating budget using company nominated suppliers
• Providing a high quality service to customers and clients
• To manage and achieve basic KPI’s
• Creating and living the Levy Difference in everything we do
• Assist in the smooth running in the kitchen from day to day, communicating effectively with all departments, to deliver an overall smooth service

Monitor and maintain consistent food standards and quality across all areas and during all stages of production and supply.

• Ensure the HACCP procedure according to the company food safety management is maintained and complied with, using HAWK
• To prepare and cook sufficient food to meet customer’s needs
• To prepare and cook sufficient food keeping wastage to a minimum
• To ensure food is prepared to the required standards; checking taste, presentation and quality
• To ensure food is served promptly and work is carried out quickly and efficiently to keep up in busy periods.
• To ensure all food sent out is correctly garnished in line with the picture specification
• To ensure portion control, preparation and storage methods, labelling and wastage is carried out correctly at all times
• To ensure you have knowledge of all food allergens in order to advise front of house
• Ensure correct food temperatures
