Searcys are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to drive sales activity so as to achieve the annual revenue budget. To effectively lead and manage the sales executive and Sales and Events Co-ordinator.

Job Description

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: £35,000 – £38,000pa

Main Purpose:  To drive sales activity so as to achieve the annual revenue budget. To effectively lead and manage the sales executives and Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • To proactively manage and develop revenue from new business leads
  • To proactively develop and maintain relationships with key accounts
  • To proactively manage the team to contact lapsed clients during trough periods.
  • To drive sales and the team to drive sales to achieve, monthly, quarterly and yearly targets
  • To work as part of a team and lead by example
  • To train, monitor, motivate and develop the sales team
  • To provide updated weekly forecasts, BOB (business on the books) when required  
  • To drive the referral system and refer business as appropriate to Central Sales 
  • To coordinate all enquiries generated from email, telephone, online, 3rd party resources and agencies
  • To manage the Delphi booking and CRM system.  Ensuring the team is inputting information to the agreed standards to produce accurate reporting.   
  • To ensure the set company accounting procedures and administration key tasks are undertaken accordingly throughout the team
  • To work towards the annual sales and marketing plan
  • To ensure the team works to the “Searcys Sales Competency Standards”  
  • To promote Searcys at (your venue) and all other venues and raise the company profile by attending company networking events
  • To stay fully updated on market trends and conditions
  • To undertake regular competitor analysis to ensure an advantage
  • To gain a good knowledge of other Searcys venues and maintain good working relationships with colleagues
  • To represent Searcys in a professional manner at all times in your behaviour, appearance and knowledge
  • Assist with event planning and production of function sheets where required
  • To perform any other reasonable duties as requested by your manager
  • Sound knowledge of MICE



Qualifications

  • To support & motivate team to reach their individual KPI’s
  • To achieve a conversion rate of 25%
  • To turn £115k a month definite
  • To achieve a show around conversion of 50%
  • Achieve a minimum score rating of 80% for mystery shop calls
