We are looking to appoint an experienced sales professional to join our existing team in Scotland. You’ll be responsible for generating new hire business for TPA’s growing range of Rapid Rail Access Points products including The Road Rail Vehicles plant hire business.
Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve target hire revenues whilst ensuring that the division’s pricing policy is adhered to 
  • To identify and develop both new and existing accounts and revenue streams with key target customer/prospects
  • Portray a professional and meticulous image to all TPA internal & external clients
  • Ensure that all agreed customer service levels and performance standards are maintained
  • Liaise with hire desk to ensure the customer’s requirements are met
  • Manage the resolution of any related queries or disputes
  • Identify and effectively target and develop sustainable relationships with key customers/prospects within the rail sector in particular
  • Identify where possible additional hire product opportunities for TPA
  • Effectively manage existing customer base to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Ensuring that solutions offered are completed as per TPA required standards
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven sales experience within the rail sector (as well as wider rail sector knowledge)
  • Knowledge of CP5 contractor base and RRV plant operators
  • Successful experience in generating new business
  • Hands on, willing to get stuck in with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude, remaining calm under pressure
  • Self-sufficient and proactive, as well as having good problem solving skills
  • Self-driven and motivated with a track record of achieving sales and business development targets
  • Demonstrated ability to maximize revenue and profit through proactive customer management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability to balance business development and account management responsibilities effectively
  • Transparency of activity to key stakeholders utilising the CRM system
  • A genuine passion for driving sales growth, building lasting customer relationships that thrives in a dynamic, hybrid role
