What does this Resourcing opportunity offer you?

We’re recruiting for students to join us on our Resourcing Programme within our Corporate HR team. 

Working within the newly redesigned in-house Resourcing function, which services all the recruitment needs across the whole of EDF UK, you’ll join 50 friendly, passionate, knowledgeable colleagues who are driven to provide an expert recruitment service to the business and our candidates. 

Working in close partnership with our HR teams and business stakeholders, we split ourselves into expert teams who work closely together to execute a robust, rounded, and positive experience.

Training, development, and support for you:

Over this 12-month programme, you’ll complete four, 3-month placements across the various disciplines, providing you with a wide range of experience:

 

  • Recruitment Co-ordination: Build a knowledge of the contractual engagement process, pre employment screening and vetting processes
  • Recruitment Delivery: Gain experience of the entire end-to-end recruitment process
  • Contingent Workforce Management: Work with subject matter experts who advise the business on the appropriate use of temporary agency workers and contractors and build an understanding of Agency Worker Regulations
  • Projects: Work with our expert colleagues in project delivery, channel sourcing, early careers and campaign management

The skills and experience gained on such a varied industrial placement offers you an introduction to a fast-paced, vital and dynamic area of HR. You’ll be exposed to a variety of business units and disciplines, getting to know the spread and span of talent demands across the business. 

This is a fantastic grounding for a future corporate career, giving you broad exposure to the business and honing your commercial, problem solving and analytical skills.

Your work location:

You’ll be based at Gloucester Business Park or Bristol.

 

Who you are:

We are looking for candidates who are:

 

  • On track to achieve or will have already achieved a 2:2 undergraduate degree or 2:2 postgraduate qualification in any discipline such as Business or HR, but we will consider other degree disciplines
  • An understanding, interest and passion for the full recruitment life cycle and the role it plays in the strategy and success of a business
  • A positive and collegiate attitude, with the ability to adapt swiftly and a willingness to undertake challenging tasks to ensure stakeholder satisfaction
  • Ability to travel to other areas of the UK as required
