Overview
- Ensure that the Shoring Revenue Target for the Region is achieved
- Work to a well-researched, targeted, strategic Regional Business Plan to deliver growth and achieve agreed business objectives
- Plan regular face to face time with Area Mangers within the region to help develop sales, train, mentor & guide. Assist with group presentations with key contacts and target audience groups
- Ensure activities levels are kept high, monitoring all Regions performance
- Maintain an accurate up to date database of key contacts within relevant businesses, targeting and identifying opportunities
- Oversee the interactions between the sales team and the hire desks
- In conjunction with the Sales Director effectively plan and execute recruitment campaigns within the region
- Personally manage selected accounts within the Region – develop and manage a pipeline of projects (demonstrating profitable revenue) which is clearly visible to senior management
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, hire desks, marketing, major projects & technical team, to ensure seamless execution of rental contracts and customer satisfaction. Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and territory updates to the UK Sales Director.
- Monthly reporting – Produce a monthly report for the region to cover progress, opportunities, concerns, industry analysis, project pipeline and competitor activity
- Self-motivated, target-driven individual with the ability to work independently and manage a team effectively
- Proven track record of successful sales experience in the construction industry, equipment rental market or a related industry
- Knowledge of excavation support solutions, including shoring systems, hydraulic struts, steel frames, and other relevant equipment
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to overcome objections and secure deals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Engineering degree – Civil, structural or mechanical – Preferable
- Relevant business qualification – Preferable

Salary: Competitive + Company Car
