Salary: £27,918.24

Employment Type: 12-month FTC

Hours: 36.25 hours Monday to Friday between 8am & 5pm

 

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and optimizing logistics? Join our team as a Commercial Planning and Bookings Assistant!

 

The Commercial Planning and Bookings Assistant’s primary focus is to plan and book on road and workshop training for our UK corporate and Commercial customers. To ensure revenue is maximised and costs are kept to a minimum by matching the right location with a suitably qualified trainer and ensuring all travel expenses are minimised. Delivering exceptional customer experience over the phone and through email ensuring we have happy customers; trainers and all training is booked within our agreed customer service levels.

 

What will I be doing?

  • Planning and booking training: Coordinating on-road and workshop training sessions for our UK corporate and commercial customers
  • Maximising revenue: Strategically match training locations with qualified trainers to ensure cost efficiency and revenue maximisation
  • Minimising travel expenses: Optimising travel arrangements to keep expenses low
  • Customer service excellence: Providing outstanding service over the phone and through email, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to service levels
  • Managing daily training: Balancing routine training with bulk requests for efficient trainer utilisation
  • Outbound calls: Contacting candidates needing training to maximise revenue and meet compliance
  • Provisional bookings: Scheduling trainers 3 months in advance based on demand and managing diaries
  • Meeting targets: Working towards daily and monthly booking goals
  • Customer and trainer communication: Coordinating training dates via phone and email
  • System updates: Maintaining accurate records of driver swaps, cancellations, and trainer reallocations
  • Team collaboration: Communicating with team members to reduce costs
  • Travel arrangements: Booking hotels, flights, and car hire for trainers, ensuring confirmations are sent
  • Expense management: Calculating and managing mileage and additional payments, avoiding unnecessary fees
  • Rescheduling: Handling rescheduling due to changes, ensuring necessary training is completed
  • Expense forms: Ensure trainer expense claims are accurate
  • Diary management: Keeping trainer diaries updated and communicating availability
  • Reporting: Providing accurate and timely bespoke reports for customers
  • Venue booking: Sourcing and booking venues
  • Customer complaints: Managing complaints, logging them in CRM, and addressing root causes

What do I need?

We’re seeking a candidate with the following qualifications and qualities:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Exceptional organisational/planning skills
  • Ability to work on own and within a team environment
  • Capability to produce and analyse data through advanced excel skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (outlook, excel, word)
