Shift hours: Full Time

As the People Coordinator, you will:

• Act as a Compass advocate, maintaining a positive professional manner at all times
• Address and action team performance consistently in a timely and formal manner through company standard procedures
• Manage attendance and absence records following up trigger points ensuring attendance policy and process is followed
• Support the processing of weekly payroll including use and review of the digital clock in system
• Support unit teams in investigation, disciplinary process and procedures, providing templates and process administration
• Support all new employees in their on boarding journal ensuring progress reviews are correctly completed
• Maintain personnel files ensuring all documentation is correctly retained
• Manage holiday calendars and authorisation process across unit teams
• Support unit teams in team talks and training
• Support the management of the site talent map and following up activity to resolution
• To arrange and ensure correct delivery of full induction process for all new starters and support on going training
• Assist in identifying additional training needs and provide accordingly
• Review elearning data, support team members as required, ensuring all e learning is complete and up to date
• Ensure all relevant paperwork and administration is compliant and correctly maintained
• Responsible for enforcing any action to be followed in a food safety or health & safety

To support the management of employee administration, induction, training, development and performance management.

• Has experience in conducting formal investigation, disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Has a proven track record to deliver consistent excellent standards
• Has good people skills and is able to carry out process and procedures confidently
• Ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities with a hands-on approach
• Is positive, passionate and enthusiastic and is able to support the delivery of change at pace
• Proven ability to Identify and implement systems and procedures to improve safer ways of working
• Has the proven ability to train and develop behaviours across a large team, with strong people skills
• Acts in line with guidelines and procedures, leads by example
• Has the ability to deliver above and beyond the expectations of our customers and clients
• Good knowledge of the service industry and the safety standards required
• Ability to manage administration with good numerical, written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Has the ability to build strong relationships with customers and clients
• Has a proactive and practical approach and is able to promote best practice in an operational environment
• Our business operates 24hrs a day, 7 days a week you will be required to work shift patterns that meets business needs
