What will I be doing?
As an Operations Supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring efficient operations of Food and Beverage outlets and the Front Desk to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. An Operations Supervisor will also be required to monitor the appearance and standards of team members. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Ensure efficient operation of Food and Beverage outlets and Front Desk
- Control the flow of customers and orders throughout service
- Manage all transactions during service
- Ensure all outlets are staffed according to business levels
- Monitor the appearance, standards and performance of Team Members with an emphasis on quality of guest service and hospitality
- Maximise sales revenue through up-selling and marketing programmes
- Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
What are we looking for?
An Operations Supervisor serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- Previous experience in organising Food and Beverage service in a range of outlets
- Front Office experience in the hotel/leisure/retail sector
- Excellent supervisory skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and delegation skills
- Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations
- Calm and organised
- Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- Interest in developing others to be part of a winning team
- Excellent grooming standards
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience as a Duty Manager
- Previous experience at Supervisory level
